Local designer, Jeni Sandberg is  truly a renaissance woman.  She is an expert in antiquities, with a degree from the UVA Architecture School, she's used her knowledge to design and launch a series of needlepoint canvases.  This piece is from the Hicks series.

David Hicks was a noted English interior designer in the 1960s and '70s.  Known for his use of bright color and combination of traditional and modern design, Hicks cultivated a wealthy clientele around the world.  This pattern was inspired by one of Hicks' textile designs from the 1960s, its open twist motif reminiscent of Chinese fretwork.  In shades of berry pink and gold on a green ground.

Can be finished as a clutch in leather, a zipper-top pouch with a fabric back, a pillow, or small tray. This would be great finished in UVA Colors too!

This canvas is stitch printed in the US by Pixels on Cotton, using archival ink in a patent-pending process that achieves a perfectly clear pattern for stitching.  On 100% cotton Zweigart mono deluxe canvas.
